Scene It Box Office Smash

If you are a movie fan, this is an awesome game, I have played it many times.
I really hope they bring out more expansion packs or more similar games. The only limitations are to make sure you have somebody or 3 others to play with. Playing on your own is not fun at all. The games are really cool and have such exercises as watching a movie clip and getting quizzed about the movie clip. There are puzzles putting movies into order of year released. Questions about actors, games where you have to decipher which movie is being mentioned by the animated or references. It really is a lot of fun and you get the buzzers with it. It is definitely for the whole family and after playing it around 30 times still get some new questions. It is great value for money and lots of fun.

Monopoly Here and Now Worldwide edition

You can't really expect more from EA Games, as it is based on the board game. Its straight forward and you don't really need intense graphics. I found the background music to be particularly annoying and there are no audio settings to disable it or at least turn it down a bit. Some of the other boards you unlock have less annoying music and I guess its a matter of personal taste. I would not have spent R400+ on this game had I known this. Maybe wait for the price to drop under R250. Its still addictive though and you will play it over and over once you've made peace with the annoying soundtrack. Just not at the current price.

Golden Axe Beast Rider

When I was a lighty I used to play the arcade version of this game. When I saw it was being remade for consoles I was pretty excited.

Graphically this game is superb, although there are a few glitches and you are quite limited to your exploring. You can't wander off the path much. The fighting takes a bit of getting used to and is not very easy. You really need to perfect this. The biggest problem with this game is it is too damn difficult and if you use up your lives early on you gonna run into problems.

It is really fun riding the beasts but I think they didn't quite get this game right. I would recommend it but the hefty price tag definitely makes it not worth it. Try find a second hand one.

Tomb Raider UnderWorld XBOX 360

I am still not sure how I feel about this game, the graphics are brilliant Lara's movements are better... Yet I don't know if the challenges are as good as previous games.

I am currently playing Underworld and Anniversary concurrently and neither one is grabbing me. Although I have only played 2 levels on Anniversary.

Underworld is very dark at times and even with Lara's light on I just can't see anything.
Ok, thats the negative but there is lots of positive things about Underworld. The motorbike is awesome to drive and the graphics in Thailand are excellent.

I am also glad they made a game that was true to the original. The puzzles are not as tricky as previous versions which is probably a relief for many users, I also found the jumping much easier.

What is disppointing are the weapons.. Although there are not as many Villains and more Animals to destroy. The game didn't quite get my heart racing like previous versions but I haven't quite got to the end.
